3/19/2023 EnchantaVaughn Approved 1.Behavior: QMHP-C greeted Jahsim as QMHP-C arrived to the home. Jahsim appeared to be in a positive mood while discussing with QMHP-C how his day was going. Jahsim verbalized to QMHP-C-his day was going okay. QMHP-C engaged Jahsim and his mother in a discussion to determine behaviors since the last session. Ms. Shabazz expressed to QMHP-C Jahsim continues to struggle with his communication skills which result in conflict in the house with the rest of his siblings. 2.Behavior: Jahsim reports he acts out because he feels as though his sister is always trying to boss him around and tell him what to do as he will get angry and start throwing things in the home. 1.Intervention: QMHP-C facilitated a therapeutic session to teach Jahsim conflict resolution skills, respectful communication and compromise. QMHP-C conducted a therapeutic discussion to engage Jahsimâs understanding of healthy conflict resolution. QMHP-C assisted Jahsim in understanding positive methods of conflict resolution. 2. Intervention: QMHP-C educated Jahsim on the importance of learning to continue to delay gratification. QMHP-C assisted Jahsim in exercises that would assist him in continuing to decrease his negative reactions to others when he is in conflict or making attempts to manipulate others when he tries to get around rulesâ authority tried to enforce. 1.Response: Jahsim admits that authority figures tend to get into arguments with him because they take his responses to situations negatively. Jahsim stated that he feels she only argues with people when they attempt to boss him around and become disrespectful. Jahsim listened actively to QMHP-C and appeared receptive to the education. 2.Response: Jahsim was able to verbalize some methods of conflict resolution such as taking timeouts before getting too upset. Jahsim appeared to understand and agreed to utilize strategies to learn to delay instant gratification. Jahsim was able to accept responsibility for his easily provoked anger. Jahsim was able to verbalize the methods he should be utilizing and agreed to implement skills taught.
